Vegan Eggnog Spice Cookies
These Vegan Eggnog Spice Cookies have all wonderful spice flavor of the traditional holiday drink. So yummy and perfect for holiday celebrations.

white whole wheat flour or all purpose

Earth Balance or other vegan butter
½
cup
cane sugar

Vegan Eggnog or vanilla almond milk

teaspoon
vanilla

teaspoon
baking soda

teaspoon
salt
¼
teaspoon
ground nutmeg
¼
teaspoon
groung cinnamon
Glaze
½
cup
powdered sugar
4
teaspoon
vegan eggnog
¼
teaspoon
ground nutmeg
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside.
In a stand mixer or a hand mixer cream butter and sugar until fluffy and incorporated.
Add flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, and eggnog. Mix until combined.
Roll dough into balls about 1 inch in size. Place on baking sheet and press with palm of hand to form cookie shape.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Allow to cool on pan for 5 minutes before moving to a wire rack to cool fully. While the cookies cool prepare glaze if using.
Glaze
In a small bowl combine powdered sugar, nutmeg, and eggnog. Mix well until smooth.
Drizzle or spread glaze over cookies and allow to sit until glaze firms up.
