Vegan Eggnog - Naturally Sweetened

Vegan Eggnog - Naturally Sweetened Growing up Eggnog wasn’t a big deal in our house, so it is not something I have really missed. However, eggnog is a holiday tradition for many people. I thought it only right to veganize it and I’ve got to say if I had been given this version as a child it would have become a tradition for sure.

I could not be happier with how this no egg Nog turned out. It’s creamy, thick, and full of that spicy nog flavor. It is also so much healthier than the non-vegan version. Traditional eggnog typical has 200-300 calories per 1 cup serving and around 20 grams of refined sugar, not to mention the eggs. Ugh! This version has around 100 calories and only has natural sugars. Much better!

Vegan Eggnog - Naturally Sweetened I liked mine thickened with the chia seeds, but if you prefer it thinner simply leave them out. The maple syrup is also optional depending on the sweetness of the bananas, all though I liked the extra flavor it gave.

I kept ours non-alcoholic for the kiddos, but feel free to spike yours if you’d like. You can find a great list of vegan alcohols here. Enjoy!
