I just love the ruby red color of cranberries! Besides being festive and pretty to look at, these little berries are super nutritious. They're high in fiber, antioxidants and loaded with vitamin C, which is great for this time of year when cold and flu germs are everywhere. With school age kids, I'm all for getting plenty of nutrients in their little bodies to keep them and the rest of the family healthy. And the best part, they don't mind because it's so tasty. All three of my little ones happily sip this one, even my middle one, who is not so much a fan of smoothies.

Excellent smoothie, skipped the maple syrup, fruit allows for just enough sweetness. Adding this to my smoothie rotation!
