- frozen strawberries
- non dairy milk
- lime juice
- maple syrup

Substitutions & variations
- Strawberries - instead of strawberries you can use raspberries, blueberries or blackberries.
- Non dairy milk - you can use coconut, almond, soy or any type you prefer.
- Sweetness - we use maple syrup to sweeten this drink. You can use any liquid sweetener you like. Use stevia for a sugar free option.
Instructions
This smoothie is super easy to make. Combine everything in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Equipment
You will need a blender to make this drink. A high speed blender will yield the best results, but a standard model will work too.
Storage
This drink is best served fresh. If you have leftovers you can pour them into a popsicle mold or an ice cub tray.

- ¼ cup fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1-2 tablespoon maple syrup or a few drops of stevia to keep sugar free

i tried this and it was disgusting. too sour, too bitter, flavorless, and just kinda awful. would not make this again.

I'm wondering if your strawberries weren't the problem. If you are in the US, berries are not in season this time of year so they will be more sour, bitter and flavorless. Also, additional sweetener would have helped.
