I didn’t set out to make this 5 Minute Spiced Pumpkin Butter, but I’m so glad I did. This butter is one of those happy accidents that sometimes happens when you’re working on something else, but it tastes so darn good you have to stop what you’re working on and immediately take photos and prepare a post. Yep, it’s that good.
It's perfect for all things pumpkin spice - use as a mix in for ice cream or make these bars or smear it on toast or many other delicious ways.
Ingredients
This pumpkin butter is made with just 4 ingredients, involves no cooking, and there’s no added sugar. Simple, healthy, and delicious!

See recipe card for quantities.
Instructions
It really couldn't be any simpler to make this pumpkin butter. Start by soaking the dates in warm water to make them easier to process. Then combine all ingredients in a food processor until smooth and creamy. It's that easy!
Remove pits from dates and soak in hot water for 10-15 minutes to soften. Drain water after soak.
Add dates, pumpkin puree and salt to bowl of food processor and blend until dates have broken down and mixture is smooth. Stop to scrape mixture down as it has a tendency to creep up the bowl.
Add pumpkin pie spice and blend to fully incorporate.
Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator.
Equipment
You will need a food processor or a high powered blender to make this butter.
Storage
Store the pumpkin butter in a lidded jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
