Are you a fan of smoothies?
It can be a great way to get in extra veggies, detoxify the body, have a healthy on the go meal or a deceptively healthy treat(my favorite reason of course). I have to admit its been quite a while since I have had one. Maybe because of the cooler weather I am all about a hot cup of tea right now, but sometimes a smoothie comes along that is just to good to ignore. This Fruit ‘n’ Cream Oat Smoothie is that smoothie.
This smoothie is really more like a shake. It’s thick, creamy, and oh so delicious. Full fat coconut milk and coconut butter are the key to the creamy thick texture and when you combine that with plenty of frozen fruit and rolled oats you get something more like a milkshake. A healthy milkshake. Yum!
Plus, the addition of the oats really makes this a smoothie with staying power. No getting hungry 30 minutes after finishing this Fruit ‘n’ Cream Oat Smoothie.
Check out those straws! They are stainless steel and have spoons on the bottom for some totally awesome, yummy scooping action. I happened to find them at the grocery store I shop at, of all places. I’ve seen the stainless steel straws before online, but not with the spoon on the end and definitely not for the price I got them for. I never really gave the kitchenware a glance much before, but I will definitely keep an eye out for other awesome finds from now on.
Have you found any awesome kitchenware at your grocery store before?
